The Purpose:

In concert with ConSone Academy’s mission and as part of ConSone’s strategic planning, professional development, and community outreach, ConSoné’s internship program is two-fold: 

• This experiential education provides college matriculates and graduates with one-on-one training and an opportunity to gain hands-on work experience that will prepare them for future employment. 
• Through their cooperative service, interns will carry out meaningful project work based on the Academy’s needs.

The Goal:

Although internships are pro bono, ConSoné offers opportunities for interns to further their knowledge of non-profit management, professional skills, and personal development.  Interns will assist in projects that have a direct impact on ConSoné’s ability to deliver its services and fulfill its mission as well as contribute to its success and sustainability.

 

ConSoné looks for candidates with intelligence, innovative thinking, flexibility/adaptability, a strong work ethic, a collaborative spirit, superior communication skills, and leadership potential.
