ConSoné Academy, a new school to be located in Boston, will be an independent, tuition-free urban middle school for girls. The heart of ConSoné's mission is aimed at breaking the cycle of poverty through education and transforming the lives of young women through the power of music. ConSoné depends on the contributions of time, talent, and treasure of individuals, foundations, and corporations in assisting us to achieve the goals and objectives for people, place, and program.

We are extending an invitation to Boston's ambitious "young professionals" to join as CYPC committee members, program organizers, leaders, agents, social networkers...
CYPC will provide opportunities for young professionals to engage in community service, active leadership, and responsible citizenship--all through social networking and hands-on philanthropy. So, whether you work in corporate or non-profit, are a community leader, entrepreneur, job-seeker, student, or someone simply looking for inspiration, we want you to be in the forefront of our exciting venture! PURPOSE OF
The primary purpose of the ConSoné Young Professionals Corps is to advance the mission of ConSoné Academy.
Through camaraderie, community service, cultivating connections, and coordinating events, CYPC's goal is to broaden the spectrum of benefactors--especially young professionals, the next generation of philanthropists.

MISSION
OF ConSoné Academy is an independent, tuition-free, urban school, providing a highly structured, values-oriented education to promising and motivated girls in grades 5-8, serving students of all faiths from low-income families, and preparing them for admission to high schools and colleges--challenging each to achieve her highest potential and to attain academic competence, confidence, curiosity, integrity, and hope. A special emphasis in choral music education will strengthen a traditional curriculum, empowering middle school girls to develop their voice, musicwise and otherwise.
